Gold Gourami - Trichogaster trichopterus

The Gold Gourami is one of the most hardiest fish available to the hobbyist. The only downfalls of such a beautiful fish are that they need a tank over 200L as they grow to 15 cm, and that males can be very territorial. To remedy the males being territorial, only get females, or to keep them in large planted tanks.
